When Your Power No Longer Fits In

Everything you'd love to change about yourself;
All the parts of yourself that you keep secret -
It's your power. It's who you are.

This quote from a movie trailer reminded me of the fact that the changes around are real, and they are reflected everywhere - if only we pay attention. But that takes courage, courage to stop trying to fit in.

This holiday season, I chose to do what I like. It was different, and I loved it. I chose to be an observer, and I learned a lot from that point of view. Life was peace and harmony... until today, when I had to go back to "fitting in". And that's when I heard the quote.

Do I really want to change ME to fit in to the reality that no longer fits in the expanding consciousness itself?
Do I really want to keep my creative passionate self hidden away just because someone might get upset?

But...

What if my power does not fit in? What if who I am is not accepted by others?

You know what? We do not fit in, true, and in all honesty, it does not matter. That Who I Am does though. It is time to learn to manage our power since we can no longer hide it. We are still to find the means of management by allowing, not controlling. Our true power is very magnetic, so by allowing it to function freely in our life we bring everything desired into life. We just have to remember to let go of control: That very control of true power in hiding is the cause of endless conflicts humanity so used to live with. It is time for change.
